In Good Faith
A short film by Aiden Jameson & Scott Brown
The Concept
A group of criminals all meet at a diner late at night AFTER they have committed a crime. They have dialogue that reveals all the exposition of who they are and what crime they commit, then eventually they start to think a rat is amongst them. They all start to sus each other out. One camera setup, all done in one take. Characters can get up and move around still, but the scene lives in one frame, and the story is told in one take format.
The Locations
Tea Room - Honey Cup Cafe
Catholic Church - Unitarian Universalist Church Nashua
A Message from the Team
Thanks so much for your interest in helping us with this film project. This section should answer some of your big questions. If you're on this page, you've already expressed interest in the project, and we think you'd be a great fit for the role. We thank you in advance.
In the development of this project, we both agreed that putting in a high level of effort to get the best results from this film is a common goal for us. Because of that, our hopes/expectations of someone who agrees to this role are a little more of a commitment than our previous requests for help.
We are both in or near the time of our life where we spend a lot of money on college degrees, so as much as we resonate the need to pay those who help us out, we are not financially in a place to do so; however, food and water will be provided for shoot days. That is one reason why we are so grateful for your consideration in helping us.
Below are our hopes/expectations for you as an actor:
-Reading/remembering your lines (improve will be possible if you wish, where it fits).
-Commitment to at least one general film meeting with other actors.
-Commitment to two rehearsals/practice runs with other actors, potentially on location.
-Commitment to two separate shoot-days (~3-5 hours | One in Manchester, One in Nashua).
